Real Wedding: Prepping for Kim and Tonya's Wedding!

Im a little late at posting these behind the scenes shots but it's been a little busy in this Charmed land of mine..lol.  I love to show Brides what goes into making their day so perfect and this one is no exception.  This particular wedding was full of detail and special attention to the relationship between these brides, yep, I said brides!  This was one of the few commitment ceremonies I have had the pleasure of planning.  The beautiful brides, Kim and Tonya are so dear to my heart and they have definitely become close friends.
Just to give you a little background on how we came to the theme of this wedding, it all started with Kim wanting something very garden inspired and comfortable.  After working with this idea for a couple weeks, Tonya finally pipes up (she usually let's Kim take over) and says she wants a NY theme... well, naturally this put a little wrench in our plans but I LOVE WRENCHES (if ya know what I mean).  I slept on it and called them the next day and had the entire thing planned!  We were to do a central park theme complete with lush greenery, taxi escort cards/favors, Brooklyn bridge ice sculpture, and street vendors for snacks!  We ran with it and with the help of all of our amazing vendors, not to mention my irreplaceable intern Coral, it was magical.  Can't wait to post the final Photos!

Places: Estate in Buckinggham

So, I must tell you all about this new property Brit and I toured last week.  We met the owner of the house at the Germain Bridal show, she is a doll by the way, and she was interested in using her home for weddings and other celebrations... SCORE!  I LIVE for new and unique venues so I was all in.  I brought the fabuloso Austin Trenholm of Trenholm Photography  with me so we could inspect the property through a photographic eye.  He loved it! I loved it! and I think you will love it!  It has a lot of potential and is so very secluded with a lake, sand, Mediterranean architecture and beautifully decorated rooms for ample photo ops!  Can't wait to get a bride in here!
