This blog is dedicated to the Grace Lakes staff as a thank you for the lovely evening of food friends and fun!

Last week I had the pleasure of attending an open house for Grace Lakes Florist where I finally got to see the shop that creates so many beautiful floral displays that I have seen at Charmed Events as well as several events all over town.  Walking into their shop was like stepping into a wonderland of crystal, flowers and serenity.  I wanted to grab a blanket, curl up on their couch and pretend that I lived in this fantasy land.  It was gorgeous.. with orchids and branches upon branches draped in crystals it was a sight to be seen.  Not only does Grace Lakes have a beautiful shop, they have a great staff too.  Having chatted with brenda at other networking events we were already won by her easy no hassle attitude and after meeting the owner of Grace Lakes Florists we see where she gets it.  April, the owner, was so down to earth and easy going it was as if she was my cool aunt that I never knew.. not sure if that makes sense to most but the very few would know what I mean :) She had been in the business for a very long time yet still asked about our business and was curious about how we did things at Charmed.  I took that as a huge compliment whether it was just shop talk (no pun intended) or sincere, I could care less.. I liked it ... we are happy to say that will be calling tomorrow to set one of our Brides up with an appointment with them!  After all, the work is beautiful and we love to work with great people too!  Thanks again ladies!
