Real Wedding: Prepping for Kim and Tonya's Wedding!

Im a little late at posting these behind the scenes shots but it's been a little busy in this Charmed land of mine..lol.  I love to show Brides what goes into making their day so perfect and this one is no exception.  This particular wedding was full of detail and special attention to the relationship between these brides, yep, I said brides!  This was one of the few commitment ceremonies I have had the pleasure of planning.  The beautiful brides, Kim and Tonya are so dear to my heart and they have definitely become close friends.
Just to give you a little background on how we came to the theme of this wedding, it all started with Kim wanting something very garden inspired and comfortable.  After working with this idea for a couple weeks, Tonya finally pipes up (she usually let's Kim take over) and says she wants a NY theme... well, naturally this put a little wrench in our plans but I LOVE WRENCHES (if ya know what I mean).  I slept on it and called them the next day and had the entire thing planned!  We were to do a central park theme complete with lush greenery, taxi escort cards/favors, Brooklyn bridge ice sculpture, and street vendors for snacks!  We ran with it and with the help of all of our amazing vendors, not to mention my irreplaceable intern Coral, it was magical.  Can't wait to post the final Photos!

Harvin Guerin Wedding at Marco Ocean Beach Resort

Jennifer was married at the beautiful Marco Ocean Beach Resort with the ceremony set directly on the beach and the reception held on the terrace in order to savor that beachy feel all night.  As the party got revved up, the guest stepped inside to dance the night away with the Brett Foreman Band and DJ Ceron.  The maid of honor and sister organized everything and hired the Charmed Girls to make sure that everything went off without a hitch!  We had a great time working with Michelle Reed Photography who captured the evening perfectly (photos to come:).  It's always a pleasure working with Corrine the coordinator at the resort and we look forward to working with this stellar crew again VERY SOON!

Directional signs hung all over the grounds by our lovely interns Coral and Anna
The Guest received embellished ornaments to take home with them as a memento of Marco Island!

Kehrin (muah) hanging lights on the trees inside around the dance floor.
The MOH made the runners herself!  SO CUTE!
The Bride used this opportunity to show her playful side... the cake was confetti!  How FUN!
 Michelle Reed hard at work!
The cake kept simple to add to the colorful surprise inside.
Brett playing the steel drum during the cocktail hour!

No wedding is complete without Chavari chairs ... thanks Party Time!
The MOH had this sand box custom made from plexy glass..... I must confess, I HAD to have it and bought it from her at the end of the night .... SCORE!
Beautiful skies are always guaranteed at the MOBR!
Brett Forman Band comes equipped with a sax player too!  Is there anything they can't do?
 Lola Rockin out!
I was thinking about how creepy it must be to imagine several people setting up your room as newly weds... and had to document it..lol
