Britney's Baby Shower! It's A Boy!

This last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending Britney's baby shower and Brit and I didn't have to do ANYTHING!  Well, I did insist that we use the wishing tree and she did create the cutest little scrap booking session of which I became obsessive over but other than that.... Nothing!  It was the cutest party!  Brit got lots of adorable Rockstar attire for her new bambino (is that how you spell it?) and I painted her a picture of a little baby Rockin out for the nursery! Her theme is of course a Rockstar... can't wait to meet the little devil!

My Road to the Real World: "I DO...to an internship!"

This is the what our new intern Coral wrote about our meeting with her today where we told her she was a (temporary) New Charmed Girl! I remember when I was still in college at FGCU and no one wanted to give me an internship because they were afraid to teach their potential competition... That makes me sad. I can't imagine teaching someone everything you know and then having them challenge you. My feeling is that if you truly have passion for what you do, you share it, in the hope that it blooms and just makes you better for it. Helping people grow and accomplish their dreams can never be a bad thing! I wish I had someone to give me that boost when I was younger.... so, here's to Karma and Coral! :) She is going to be amazing!

Check us out in this weeks Florida Weekly Publication!

Robert Williams, a writer of the Florida Weekly, surprised Britney last week when he called to ask her a few questions about our business to publish in the Business Section.  She gave him my number and asked that he call me as I do all of the Marketing and PR for Charmed.  We spoke for quite a while about weddings, struggles, achievements and even  a little about our families comparing stories of our siblings.  It turned out to be a very realistic view on the Bridal Industry as it is today and I thank him for his story.  Any opportunity we are given to reach out to our future clients is much appreciated!! Check out the article in this weeks Florida Weekly paper!

Just for the record, the photo that made the paper of BRIT AND I was from Luminaire Foto, not Limelight.  We submitted a photo for the cover that was taken of one of our brides from limelight, but it didn't make it to print.

Lets Make Beautiful Wedding Together Shall We!

Hi! I really need to be more consistent with my blogging but I get so lost in thinking of all of our clients magical events and how we can make it everything they want as uniquely THEM as I can using every aspect of the decor to speak to them.  Ahh... see what I mean.
Anyway, I was totally inspired to write after getting to meet all of these brides the last two days.  Let me explain.. we had an amazing time at the Bridal show and booked 27 brides to meet up and chat about their wedding with us.  So far, we have had four dates in the last two days and four new brides have become Charmed Brides.  So, that's why I have been so inspired.  I've got many themes and colors flying through my head and for me, this is SO fun.  I've found so many unique and creative ways to make these weddings special.  I must say though, there's something that many brides fail to notice.  All of those amazing unique weddings are either larger budgets that can afford to pay several different vendors to make handmade unique decor for their wedding OR they make it themselves.  The best part, is that I LOVE that stuff and can figure out how to make just about everything BUT you need to be willing to devote some time to  1) let me teach you and 2) get your friends and family to help you make it.  Unfortunately, we can't do all of these things for all of our brides... trust me, I've tried... and I really enjoy it but there's just not enough time in the day for us.  So, please get in the spirit of things and be confident that you CAN do it.  Your wedding can be on the cover of any bridal magazine you just have to TRUST US and believe that it can be you!
Was that a pep talk or what?...lol I truly meant it though..lol
Wishing you luck in love!
