Now, Im not so sure what possessed me to come down to this Venue but I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed speaking with their events coordinator Sandy about the Vampire Diaries and their upcoming events... Sometimes things just pop up and get in the way of work talk, like blood suckers and bad boys.. huh. Anyway the location is right on the river with floor to ceiling windows and hardwood floors. There is a conference room that can be used to hold the food and a nice little nook that could be a great place for the food station (if you book it before Feb when the 'nook' turns into a gift shop) If your a sports junky or your hubby is, this may be a sentimental choice for you. Sandy was also nice enough to point out the lush lawn to the right of the building that is ideal for a ceremony and cocktail hour. However, if you want to go that way, you'll have to contact Harbourside. OR, you can call Charmed and we can make all the arrangements for you!
This one is from that same location of the same wall. Notice the little sitting area on the far left..
Naturally all of the memorabilia WILL be taken out and like almost all historic museums, nothing can be affixed to the walls or ceiling. But, a planner will know how to get around those guidelines and still create your vision.. with things like tall centerpieces, balloon (not your regular balloons), and lighting.
Nice View, especially if this was your only "downtown" growing up...
A close up of the future gift shop... this is the hall leading to the conference room..
hall to the conference center...
and the conference center..
This is the sitting area that can be used for the cake display, lounge seating.. whatever you can think of!
Lawn area that could host your ceremony and cocktails..
The pricing is a little high, the restrictions are a little tough, and it can only hold about 80 without a dance floor... but, if you gotta have it... we can make it beautiful!
