This was a surprise for a few reasons. One, I didn't realize how nicely the 'Old Florida' feel was dispaled on the grounds and in the lobby. It has an upscale look at a moderate price. That brings me to the second surprise, the price. You can have a night dining on lobster and filet without trading in your honeymoon. Im pretty sure you will enjoy Michael too. He may come off a little proud at first but once you hear him talk about his staff and his brides... you'll see that he is proud... of his staff and his reputation. That's something we look for at Charmed!
Clubhouse entrance..
Fountain that greets you immediately when you walk into the lobby.. Also the backdrop of the head table for the bridal party.
One set back , if your in love with chavari chairs.. it will cost you.. the Club has no place to stash their chairs in the mean time.
Old Florida feel Right? I like it!
I have a thing for fireplaces too.. they lend themselves to a feeling of warmth.
THe dance floor splits up the seating arrangements with the DJ suggested to be in front of the glass doors you see in this photo.
Bye Colonial Country Club! Its been fun! And thanks for giving our hardworking brides a break without breaking their vision. Now you just have to make this all inclusive package unlike every other wedding held there... thats where Charmed comes in!
